For a resume how does this sound?

Work Experience: Libreria Christiana Impacto (Christian Bookstore) - San Juan, PR(October2006-December2006)

Manager飥?br>
鈥€狅€狅€狅€燨pened and renovated the closed store.

鈥?Everyday started with counting the petty cash and placing it inside the cash registers.

鈥?Greeted every customer and helped them with anything they needed.

鈥?Always on my feet, putting items, cleaning glass surfaces, sweeping and mopping the floors, and would constantly be restocking.

鈥?Kept my employees in check, always busy, made sure they were following the constant daily routine.

鈥?Set up business proposals, and executed with the authority of my superiors.

鈥?Sales experience.

鈥?Constantly travelled to wholesale stores and purchase goods for the store.

鈥?Closed shop every night, counted profits, made the deposit to the finance office and finished the evening paper work. For a resume how does this sound?
WAY TOO WORDY. The interviewer does not need to know every... single... thing... you did... every... single.... day....

Some of this sounds depressing.

Don't use words like "constantly", "always", "constant daily routine"
agree with above, some the items would be understood or should come out in the interview. For a resume how does this sound?
You don't need to put down everything you did, just the most important things. That way, if they have more questions about your previous skills, you will have an answer.
For any resume you should ask yourself these questions

1. what does this list say about me?

2. Why would someone hire me from what I listed?

3. Have I shown clear-cut skills, accomplishments, or abilities

Now that you've asked yourself this, if you look at it, it tells a lot of what you did, but it doesn't tell a potential employer why he should hire you.

How does this sound

Responsible for both Opening and Closing store and all relevant details

Handled and accounted for cash

Had customer focused attitude

etc

etc.

Says the same thing but tells a better story. For a resume how does this sound?
Yes, this is way too wordy. If this makes a difference, I wouldn't hire you based on this resume. My partner and I have a writing agency where we write and redo resumes, visit our website www.writecompanyonline.com You would not be disappointed, and the coverletter is important as well.
