R some rock bands presumed 2 b Christian cuz of no cussing?

I know that the secular rock band Evanescence was presumed 2 b Christian because the lyrics had some, uh spiritual meaning or something. 2 me, I just don't hear any cussing. In fact, the funny thing is is that I've herd bands like, I think Flyleaf and Blindside on a rock station %26amp; not a Christian station, %26amp; yet I've seen those artists' CDs in a Christian bookstore. Thousand Foot Krutch is one Christian rock band that I've herd on KDUV, the Christian station, but I did hear "Rawkfist" I think on Krab Radio, the secular station.



So if a secular rock band has songs that have some spiritual meaning or whatever, or if they just don't say %$露? or have the Prenatal Advisory label, would they b presumed 2 b Christian? I mean, while they may not have 2 b Limp Bizkit or Korn, could a little sailor-talk b necessary 2 dispel the "Christian rock" assumptions?R some rock bands presumed 2 b Christian cuz of no cussing?
Just because a band doesn't cuss doesn't mean they are Christian. And just because a band's music isn't played on a Christian radio station doesn't mean they aren't Christian. Sadly most Christian radio stations don't play much rock. So if most Christian rock bands want radio play they get it on regular rock stations. Thousand Foot Krutch gets played on both because they have softer songs that fit with what most Christian stations play. But they also have harder songs that get played elsewhere. Same thing with bands like Disciple and Skillet.
I guess it kind of depends on the band members faith, along with the lyrics. I consider Switchfoot to be a Christian band, but they signed on to a secular lable and their music is played on secular and Christian stations. Fly Leaf has kind of the same thing going on, although I haven't heard them on our Christian station yet, but that doesn't mean they aren't being played somewhere else. I love Paramore too, and while some of their music is definetly secular, I've read the band members say they are Christians.R some rock bands presumed 2 b Christian cuz of no cussing?

no, and evanescence were origionally a christian band so that they could get their first record deal, but they arent christian any longer.



i think it would take more than a lack of swearing to make a band christian.
Then by all logic Linkin Park was a christian band because they didn't cuss in their songs! I don't think so. It doesn't really matter what your music is classified you can find spiritual meaning from any song whether it's rap, country, christian, alternative, heavy metal, punk, etc..... It has no bearing on if there's cussing or not. It's just a label.
you can still say some pretty not christian things without swearing!
