Someone was accused of stealing a bracelet-help?

Worth 25$ from a christian bookstore. They did NOT really take it and they have a municipal trial coming up, what can they do to prove their innocense?Someone was accused of stealing a bracelet-help?
'They' don't have to prove their innocence, the accuser has to prove guilt.

Edit: With no actual proof, (witnesses, cameras, etc) accusing this person because they were the only customer in the store that day just isn't good enough. Even in a 'Christian' bookstore an employee could have just as easily taken the bracelet. If this is ALL they have, the accused person has nothing to worry about in my opinion.Someone was accused of stealing a bracelet-help?
They have to prove that you are guilty i think you have it backwards.

Lots of unanswered questions here. Were they arrested? Was the merchandise found in their possession? Is the incident on video? Witnesses? Etc, etc.

Have you talked with an attorney?Someone was accused of stealing a bracelet-help?
Luckily for that person the burden of proof lies with the accuser.

The Christian bookstore must prove" beyond a shadow of a doubt" that the person they're accusing stole the bracelet, or their case will be thrown out of court.
