If the Bible is all you need, why do Christian bookstores carry more than the Bible?

It'$ a my$tery. Mo$t of the re$t of the book$ in Chri$tian book$tores tend to be $elf-help book$, poorly-written novel$, daily devotional reading, and popularization of fundamentali$t theology. Nothing remotely u$eful. If the Bible is all you need, why do Christian bookstores carry more than the Bible?
Because people like to read.
1. Not every one reads the Bible.

2. Some people like things they don't need. (You have a car, don't you?)

3. Christian bookstores are businesses. They sell things to make money like any other business. If the Bible is all you need, why do Christian bookstores carry more than the Bible?
For the same reason there are so many TV evangelist, MONEY!!!!!!
Because there's a difference between needing something and finding it useful. One really doesn't need modern tools to build a house, but they sure make the job a lot easier. If the Bible is all you need, why do Christian bookstores carry more than the Bible?
I read many books other than the Bible. I feel it is good to gain knowledge about and outside the Bible. I think it is unwise to think you will magically understand everything about the Bible without doing background research on things such as the history of the writings, the history of the places the writers lived, Jewish History, Babylonian, Greek, Roman history, and things such as Hebrew and Greek language studies are important for properly knowing the Bible. If more Christians would apply these principles there would be less wacky denominations.
The primary reason there is more than just the Bible is because Christians get much of their inspiration from God and his Word. From such inspiration, C.S. Lewis wrote "The Chronicles of Narnia", Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins created the "Left Behind" series, and much more. Where do you think great Christian artists like Demon Hunter, Skillet, Kutless, Flyleaf, Jeremy Camp and P.O.D. get much of their inspiration from? Much of it derives from Jesus Christ being in their lives.
When Christians say the Bible's all we need, we don't mean we need no help in reading and understanding and applying it to our lives. We need our fellow-Christians to help us discover the parts of the Bible we haven't yet discovered, and understand the parts we haven't yet understood.
