Ty Mosler walked away from his management position at the Family Christian Bookstore in Asheville, N.C., after eight years because of a quandary he never thought he'd face: A change in the Christian store's operating hours meant Mr. Mosler would have to miss going to church at least half of the year.
anymore Questions Ask Me!Do you think it is ok for Family Christian Bookstores to be open on Sundays?
hahhaha. I guess not.
Yes. Christians have it backwards. Saturday is the Sabbath Day. On the first day he said "Let there be light" Sunday. I'm a Christian and I've never understood.Do you think it is ok for Family Christian Bookstores to be open on Sundays?
I think ist is fine for it to be open half-day...
Yes. They have to pay the bills too.Do you think it is ok for Family Christian Bookstores to be open on Sundays?
I think you have way too much time on your hands!! If you seriously have time to worry about something like that then you are not busy enough in life. Get a job or another job!!
It's fine - they are open for a worthy cause - in the service of Lord Jesus Christ and His gospel. So it's proper for the bookstores to serve the people %26amp; the cause Of Jesus Christ on Sundays.
I see no problem there. And sundays are our traditional day of worship. history and tradition have made this happen, and cannot be changed so readily.
ABSOLUTELY!
After church.
Yes, but only after Noon, as in my area, we can't buy beer at the supermarket until after Noon. I guess so that people don't go to church drunk? If I can't buy beer before noon on Sunday owing to blue laws, people shouldn't be able to buy bibles before noon on Sunday, either.
Good Question!!!
I think NOT. If they are Christians they should observe the sabbath, and not be open. They should set an example. I would like to think that the employees of this kind of store would be Christians and would like to go to church on Sundays.
On the other hand.......... I know lots of people who never miss a Sunday at church, they look down on the people who go to work on Sunday, then these same people go out to a restaurant after church with their families only to be waited on someone who is WORKING ON SUNDAY!!!!
HYPOCRITES!!
I guess if someone runs a business, they should be able to choose when they are open/closed.
I think people would EXPECT a christian book store to be CLOSED on Sundays.
