I was buying several large, heavy books at a bookstore today when one of the employee there suddenly approached me and asked if I were Christian. I think you can figure out the rest. :-(Has a Christian tried to convert you today?
Many times, although Jehovah's Witnesses are the worst for that.
We don't try to convert anyone. That's God's job. I wonder what the topics of the books were that prompted the employee to ask you that question. It sure doesn't sound like you were the object of someone trying to convert you.

Not today because I haven't left the house yet. I've had that happen at bookstores before. I then proceed to "*****" slap them w/ their own holy book. They usually back off real fast when the realize how knowledgeable I am about their faith.

They are probally so adamant that their way of life is the truth, so they want to share

When i am in the bookstore i often hover around the new age section for quite awhile but no one ever mentions anything nor trys to convert me
Yeah, and when I said I wasn't interested I was told I'll go to Hell. They're such nice people those Christians, aren't they? Anyway, I replied with an "I'll see you there then", and walked away.
That's not very good business...
