Why is there only christian books in the religion section in national bookstore, power books, etc?

the "religion" section should should be changed to "Christian" section since only Christian books are available. Why is there only christian books in the religion section in national bookstore, power books, etc?
What national book stores are you going too? In the religion section of all the ones I have been to there has always been books on shintoism, islam, judaism, various native american beliefs and various other religions.

In fact a few of them actually do have a separate section specifically for books on christianity, since there is normally a larger percentage of the books devoted to that religion and its subsets..
I've yet to see a bookstore here in Australia (excluding Christian bookstores, of course) that had solely Christian books in their religion section. Most religion sections in bokstores and libraries I've been to are labelled "Religion and Spirituality", encompassing mainstream religions, new-age beliefs and other such... cultural tomes. Why is there only christian books in the religion section in national bookstore, power books, etc?
I can't speak for bookstores in the Philippines but my guess would be availability or that the stores have underlying rules about what they can sell. Here in North America you can find books on almost any religion that there is which is refreshing because it allows you to research many before making up your mind which one resonates with you the most.
The bookstores I visit, like Barnes %26amp; Noble, have books from many religions. In a country like the USA where 3/4 of the citizens define themselves as Christians, it is not surprising that for-profit bookstores would stock more Christian books than those of other faiths. Why is there only christian books in the religion section in national bookstore, power books, etc?
They do that here in the U.S. too. When I buy books on Neopaganism (very rare nowadays due to money constraints), I have to go to the New Age section.

Because my religion, apparently, isn't a "real" religion.
Of course. Then there are the real sources for good books, like the library.
