Is hanging a crown of thorns on your front door a great way to celebrate Easter?

I was in a Christian bookstore today, and I saw a crown of thorns made from REAL THORNS FROM REAL TREES! It was a wicked-looking thing! Is hanging that on your door a great way to celebrate Easter?

*not recommended for placing on one's head*

Did you have your date at the Christian bookstore?

True story...my parents owned a Catholic bookstore when I was growing up. One day someone came in and turned all the crucifixes upside down and then left the store. I missed your question about the date...but if I hadn't I would have suggested that. It creeped the crap out of us. I was 12.

What was the question again? You know I never listen to you anyway.
I think something like that would look just lovely atop the large, wooden, hand-carved Thor's Hammer already on my front door. I would leave it up year-round, of course, just like I do a lot of my Halloween decorations. I've got the coolest house in the neighborhood by far.

Frogma, a lot of us go into those places and buy books to not only creep out people like childhood Batty and her parents, but also to try to understand "what in Lady Hel's blessed name is WRONG with some of these people?!?" through reading rather than just asking. Asking seems a bit rude, you know.Is hanging a crown of thorns on your front door a great way to celebrate Easter?
Beats having the blood of a lamb painted on top your door frame.
That's friggen weird. But what is weirder is that you were in a Christian bookstore...Is hanging a crown of thorns on your front door a great way to celebrate Easter?
Wow that Batty had it all, imagine having a whole shop full of glow in the dark Marys
NO hanging easter island heads on your door is way better
No but it's a good way to keep solicitors away
don't forget to hide a few eggs in it as well.
