Old Testament (which the Jews call The Books of Moses) and The New Testament. Doesn't the fact that Christians include the Book of the Jews in their Bible mean that Christians are honoring Jews by doing this? Isn't this a strong indication that Christians recognize Judaism as being the foundation of Christianity?If you pick up any Christian Bible at any bookstore or library you will see that it contains two books - the?
Yes, more or less. Christians believe they are grafted into the tree of judaism. Judaism is the roots of christianity. There is no denying it. Jesus was a Jew. Most, if not all of the writers in the new testament were Jews and all the first believers in Christ were Jews. Even Jesus said He came for the Jews first.
Yes..........so?

For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.
Isaiah is a mini-bible comprising of 66 chapters each representing the 39 documents of the Old Testament and 27 documents of the New Testament....6 is the number of man.
The authenticity of the Bible is a very strong one.
For example...
The Bible is comprised of Hebrew in the Old Testament and Greek in the New Testament. The Hebrews and the Greeks use their alphabets as their numbering system. This means that their words also represent numbers as a co-incidence of this previous fact.
This system of interpreting words as numbers of significance is known as Gematria. For example the number *eight* in the bible is a number that represents a new beginning. The name Jesus in the Greek is 峒肝废兾酷喀蟼 where the letter 峒?10 畏=8 蟽=200 慰=70 峥?400 蟼=200 鈥?thus the total for His name is 888.

Now this in itself may not be that surprising. But this principle has been applied in a similar fashion to the first verses of the Old and New Testaments. The results are surprising to say the least. The author claims there is a 1 in ten billion chance of it occurring. The formula that is applied is kind of suspicious but since it is the same formula applied to both verses the result achieved for both verses is so unique it is undoubtedly the hand of God.
The results are 3.141554509 and 2.718312812 for Genesis 1v1 and John 1v1 respectively. Which is the value of Pi and e within 0.0012% and 0.0011% respectively!

The Gospels can be further validated....

And further....
Matthew = Purple = Lion = Royalty
Mark = Red = Ox = Sin/Sacrifice
Luke = White = Man = Righteous
John = Blue = Eagle = Heavenly
The colours(%26amp; tone) are those used in the Holy veil in the Temple.

The bible continually weaves facts with indescribable codes and symbols that over a period of approximately 1600 years leaves no doubt as to it's author.
The first Prophet of note in the Bible is Enoch. He named his Son Methuselah. Mut is the Hebrew word for death and Shalach is the Hebrew word for sent. Prophetically his name means it is sent when he dies. The year that M@thuwshelach died was the year the flood was sent.
If you take all the names of Adam through to Christ it is a hidden gospel message....

It's a strong indication that you need to take a seat over there.
Well yeah, Jesus, the founder of Christianity was a Jew himself. Catholics recognize that Judaism is the past of our Religion.If you pick up any Christian Bible at any bookstore or library you will see that it contains two books - the?
Many Christians don't think about the fact that Judaism, Christianity, and Islam share the same father both historically and spiritually. "Christ" is the foundation of Christianity not Judaism. The term Christian was coined by the Apostle Paul. 'Shuutokutentei'
Well yes, I thought that was pretty straightforward.
uh yeah duh
you know whats fun to do, ask for charles darwin's theory of evolution, in a christian bookstore
many many books by many many authors to be precise
66 books actually
It is not an honoring of the Jews. The coming of Christ revolutionized the way that we look at the OT. We recognize it as pointing to Jesus: the entire thing. The book of Hebrews describes a lot of it.
Maybe but one is not complete without the other. The Old testament tells of Jesus' coming, so this is good to know. And the New Testament tells of Jesus and how Jesus died for sins so we can know God. Only through Jesus can we know God, most others can only know about God.
So would you rather know about God or know God himself?
By what you say, they only know half the truth. Is this your stance? For it is about Jesus. Jesus is God and died for our sins so we can now know God. Why do you not know our creator, God?
Only God can reveal the meaning of his word, the bible. So if we want to know the truth we must ask God to show us meanings and give us understanding or we just guess. Before we start reading the bible ask God for knowledge and understanding, then we can know and understand it as God gives it to us.
If I wanted to know something written is Martian, I would go to someone that speaks Martian and ask them what it means so that I may understand what it says. Or I could look at it, not understanding, then say it means this or that: not knowing Martian, I could try to make it mean whatever i wanted, though this would not be the right interpretation.
Many do this with the bible, it is God's word and only God can tell us the meaning of things and give us understanding too. Or we just guess or make something up. So go to God and ask him directly for the truth of his word. And God can do this through any bible, not just some but all.
hope this helps and take care.
bless you.
