I'm wanting to deepen my relationship with Christ, but can't afford to go to the Christian bookstores to buy the books. So I am looking for ministries and such that offer free books, magazines, and information that I can receive in the mail. I look forward to receiving information about Jesus in my mail everyday. Bro I would study the bible to get a better relationship with Jesus. Scripture is powerful and it discerns thoughts and intents of our heart, It will convict us where we are wrong and encourage us in that which is good. A magazine is a second hand witness where the scripture is an eye witness. Study the whole thing form Gen to Rev...Jesus said you study the scriptures because in them you think you have eternal life but it is these that bare witness of ME...here are a few
foundational verses that I like to consider
...without faith it is impossible to please God.
...faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God
...apart from Me you can do nothing
...without love I am nothing.
if all of your thoughts and actions have the pursuit of God int hem and you build upon the foundation of the word of God you will know Jesus personally very well, because you will become like him.
