How long before the creationists and the alienists get together?

Seriously... Shouldn't the "Jesus was god's kid" people and the "Jesus was an astronaut" people join forces?



So many of the silly stories in the christian's bible become much more plausable when viewed from a "sci-fi" kind of perspective. Virgin birth? In-vitro fertilization. Noah's ark? Easy to round up 10 million species when you just need a cell sample. Walking on water? Telekinesis or anti-gravity. Raise the dead? With advanced technology, that's a walk in the park.



I know, there's already plenty of folks out there that follow this essential concept, and many science fiction stories have been written from that perspective.



But with the christianoids trying to sell themselves as scientists with stuff like the "intelligent design" label for creationism, how long can it be for them to try to get the whole book off the fantasy shelf an on to the sci-fi shelf at the bookstore?

So true. It's funny to watch the christians distance themselves from the "raelien" religion.........they believe the SAME EXACT thing except their "god" was a space alien.

Well, i subscribe to this theory. Religion in general was the first politics in the world. it was used by governments thousands of years ago in order to give the poor ( anyone else ) a reason to accept a horrible life and abuse from their rulers. If you tell people that life is great because God loves you, then after abusing them and depriving them of food etc.. say well its all ok because you'll this reward when you die! Thats contradictive in itself...

This talk of space men and alien beings creating all man kind, its a little too much TV influlence. More like religion was an order, like the Muslims being told they shouldn't eat pork ( because it couldn't be stored in very hot conditions ) or thou shall not kill ( because its a naughty thing to do ). Thats what i put it down to. A system of laws inforced by stories of bibical terror if you don't believe them!How long before the creationists and the alienists get together?

JESUS was the CREATOR, who was born of a Virgin and became ONE of US (mankind). Now-a-day's HE can fly around in a U.F.O. made out of frozen light that can exceed the Speed of Light. But be careful if you see one, the DEVIL's got'em too!!!!!!!!!But don't worry, in the end GOD's U.F.O.'s will take out all of the Devil's, THANK GOD!!!!!!!! How's that for Sci-Fi reality!
Actually some really interesting points in this one.... Might have to open my own church. You can't have faith or believe in anything to join! Just theories.
