Does anyone have parents like this?

The problem with mom is:

- she used to lock me out of the house, if I didn't do chores.

- she threw a keyboard at me for not playing long enough. she threw chair at my brother

- she would take a whole bookshelf, unhook the tv and through it down the stairs.

- she even swerved lanes on the highway, sped up and threatened to drive off the cliff.

- if she got into an argument with dad in the car, she would step

out of the car and walk home...even if was miles away...or take the bus home.

The problem with dady is:

- I left the house without permision, took the bus to go to the bookstore (only twice)

so he ripped my shirt off beat me with a belt, and called me 'lying sob' 'sack of s---' etc

- The other time, he kicked me down into the closet, and the did the same thing.

- I was depressed and did not get out of bed cuz the other kids were taunting me, he did it again.

- one time, I was late for school and I forgot to put deoderant on,

he watched me take a shower for 10 minutes. I swear I was ready to gag.

They both grew up in south central Los Angeles. My opinion is that I hear this kind of

behavior is rampant in christian-homes espeically in America. So could that be true?



Why on earth should kids put up with parents like this?



Of course if I tell them, how mean they are, they just angrier.

Their parents treated them the same way. Your best bet is to grow up and move out.
That is child abuse and that is no christian home believe me. Jesus Christ came to bring peace and love and mercy not violence.



You should probably report it to Social services or the police or a teacher at school or someone who could help you, but be prepared to be taken away from your violent parents.Does anyone have parents like this?
I had the same kind of parents, not quite as extreme as yours. I am still struggling with the consequences forty years after leaving home. The only solution is to get out of that family and try to put it all behind you.
Yes, others have parents like that; a good friend of mine did and it affected him for the rest of his life.



I was fortunate to have two loving, supportive parents--and I am very grateful for it!

No, it is not true that this is rampant in Christian homes. Maybe that's what you've been told as an excuse to their behavior, but it isn't true. And no, children shouldn't be expected to put up with that, call CPS.
Call child protective services.



These parents are not Christian. They are not behaving like

You are kidding right? That's not just mean that's child abuse!! Someone is going to eventually end up getting seriously hurt. Tell someone about this and get yourself to a safe environment!
they thought that they were doing good and making you good person. Do not expect perfect love from anybody except yourself. My were not that bad but i wish they learn more about parenting before they decided to have children

They were all COMPASSIONATE Jewish ladies who according to the Bible writers HAVE SLAUGHTERED AND COOKED THEIR OWN CHILDREN FOR DINNER at the tune of, “The LORD is my Shepherd I shall not have any want” (Psalm 23, or 24 for the Catholics)!

Isaiah 49:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I* (*God) WILL NOT FORGET YOU!* (*the Bible writers made it clear that the God that they put together would force their fellow STINGY JEWS refusing to support the Clergy TO EAT their own babies for dinner!)

In Deu 28, 14 verses tell the “blessings” of submission to the Clergy, while 54 describe the most sadistic punishment for not paying the full dues (10% of their gross income) -Deut 17:12-13, Mal 3:9-10, Mat 25:41, Acts 5:1-11, etc…

Our US Government officials, in this “ONE NATION UNDER GOD” still swear on and kiss this smutty Bible FOR POLITICAL REASONS! Christianity and religion in general is a multibillion Dollar business!
