Actually there's a great number of folks who feel that if read Stephen King or perhaps Danielle Steele books, then you're leading yourself down a path of temptation. I feel if you faith is strong enough and you relationship with Jesus is close enough then you have to trust your own instincts. I like Michael W. Smith for example but one of my Christian friends was highly upset Michael recorded Bridge Over Trouble Water on one of his CD's. I said so, and he replield it was a drug song. Whaaaa? I don't think so, but there you go.Why do some christians think that based on the fiction books you read...?
I want to reply to your idea that you can worship without going to church.
Here's what God says:
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.
I know what you mean, a relative got very upset with me once almost to the point of tears cuz I read Stephen King books. ??????
