Is it OK to sell the Qar'an in American Bookstores alongside the Holy Bible?

Do you agree with the ANTICHRIST Ann Coulter, THE FACE OF THE NEW REICH WING REPUBLICAN; the "Godless" Harpy representing Born-Again Christians, George W. Bush and the Conservative party of the USA, to allow Christian Book Stores to sell the Koran?

Is it OK to have the Quran, (Koran) the sacred text of Islam, and Muslims, that contain the revelations of God to the prophet Muhammad during his life at Mecca and Medina, through the angel Gabriel, (also called Alcoran) avaliable in Americas Librarys?Is it OK to sell the Qar'an in American Bookstores alongside the Holy Bible?
It is OK. And the Quran is as Holy as the Bible. Both books were made by men. And well, remember that the Bible was censured from its beginning.

Besides, diversity made the US as great as it is, so why the censorship? US = freedom.

Sure, why not. They are both just books, and no one is demanding that anyone read either one of them. So, why not?
You bet, this is America and freedom of religion is one of our basic rights, if I wish to read the Koran I should be able to. Please do not demean others just because u dont like someone. Ann Coulter isnt the AnitChrist and the Koran isn't any more or less special than the bible. it is not holy, merely a book on how to lead your life threw lessons.
Of course. I'm not in favour of book-banning in general. To disallow sale of the Koran (how ever you care to spell it) is pointless censorship.



Now, I'd have a harder time arguing against banning Ann Coulter's latest (or any) book, but that's just a matter of taste. So I won't advocate preventing the general public from reading that trash either.

I think all kinds of religious books should be sold in libraries, then people get to chose what they want to read.

Nobody says you HAVE to be Christian to be American, or to live in the U.S.

Oh wait, you are a liberal, trying to make a case by turning your newfound hatred of Ann Coulter into an opportunity to smear the republicans and our President. It's a shame you would do that under the guise of somebody who has knowledge of religion. Are you saying that half of the population of the world is wrong in their religious beliefs, and your half is right. that's pretty small minded. The exact reason I reject all religion and worship my own god, in my own time, in my own home. You should try it, you will finally be free.
Of course it's okay to sell the Quran in bookstores. It's the holy book of Islam, and as most of us know, the great majority of Muslims are not terrorists. But even if they were, to ban the book would amount to censorship.



As for your stance on Ann Coulter...if you don't like her, fine, but is the hateful, mean-spirited invective necessary? Especially coming from someone whose party claims a monopoly on caring and tolerance. Does that make it OK for me to call Michael Moore the face of the New Communist Party? 'Cause he and Coulter are simply mirror images of each other - they do the same thing, but on opposite sides of the fence. The only difference is that Coulter throws a tiny bit of truth in with her invective, while Moore and the truth remain perfect strangers.

I do take offense to your assumption that Ann Coulter is the "representative of born again Christians. Wouldn't it be more appropriate to say that Jesus Christ is the representative of born again Christians? You obviously like to just lump everyone that doesn't agree with you into one clump. I personally like to read about a variety of different religious beliefs. I wouldn't want anyone besides myself deciding what book I can choose to read.
