Bookstore Barnes and Noble gave 1,000 fans the chance to meet the teen sensation, and receive a pre-signed copy of his book.
Many of the lucky fans camped out for days to secure the opportunity.
'It was amazing. It took like five seconds though and I had, I was waiting since Wednesday, sleeping over, but I don't know.. I love him,' 14-year-old Bieber fan, Talulah Gilroy said.
'I was like, can I have a hug? And he was like, of course, he was like, he grabbed my waist and oh my God and like oh my God, it was just amazing. I love him so much.'
Many of the star-struck fans emerged from the bookstore in tears, overwhelmed with meeting the 16-year-old singer.
'I walked up to him, he put his arm around me, I just couldn't like, it's so crazy, like. He just touched me, he was talking to me. It was only like two seconds but it felt like five minutes. Oh my god. I didn't think I'd be like this, but, it's crazy,' 16-year-old fan Alexa Pedersen said.
Question is - whilst being a pathetic and tragic bunch, do these fans share the same mental capacity of a Christians?Christian Fanbase or other?
What a nasty analogy...its a bit like the Hitler did that..kind of rubbish other people argument.
Are these impressionable teenagers caught up in a hysterical passion for an unobtainable idol...yes probably. Has that got anything to do with religious fervor...no not really.
Adolescents want desperately to belong to something, a cause, a gang somewhere they can be different than they were as a child and learn to be the adult they are becoming... celebrity culture puts airbrushed perfection on a Pedestal and a few months later tares them down...like a hamster or rabbit they serve a purpose and help kids grow but they have a season and then they are gone.Christian Fanbase or other?
Please stop saying horrible things...yes I am christian and obviously my faith means the world to me. I don't push it down peoples throats, I don't make judgments on other people, and I try to help wherever I can, I prefer to hope you simply got things wrong (again) a kindness never hurt anyone.

Christian Fanbase or other?Whilst I agree that these fans are being pathetic and tragic, they are tweenagers, and therefore do not share the same mental capacity as any adult, regardless of their religious affiliation. So, ... no.
These Bieber fans have raging female hormone possessing their bodies and brains. Christians don't have anywhere near this brain activity.
