All my bookstores don't have it and it's not on Amazon.com. I want to learn how to decide which parts of the Bible I should interpret literally and which are just metaphor.Where can I get my copy of "The True Christian's鈩?Guide to Cherry-Picking the Bible"?
Just about any one of the ka-jillions churches out there.
Don't forget to study the chapters that deal with:
-- when others cite biblical references that are irreconcilable to my beliefs, then the reference is always "out of context"
-- when convenient to me parts of the Old Testament are still to be observed. When not convenient to me, then the Old Testament is "irrelevant to Christians"Where can I get my copy of "The True Christian's鈩?Guide to Cherry-Picking the Bible"?
In all seriousness, the book you want is called "The Good Book" by Peter Gomes. He gives the Liberal Christian understanding of the Bible as well as how to interpret on the more difficult scriptural issues like women, gays, even alcohol.
Go to any Protestant Church, and pick up their Bible... Cherry picked so much that they removed 7 books...from the original.Where can I get my copy of "The True Christian's鈩?Guide to Cherry-Picking the Bible"?

Would you rub my forehead?
