Oh, R&P. Have I got a story to tell you!?

Maybe I'm the only one who finds this remotely interesting but I'm going to tell you anyway. : P

So yesterday, I went shopping with my very religious Christian friend (not that there's anything wrong with that). We were walking around the mall and there were these very punk rock looking guys, walking behind us. Actually, I kinda liked they're style. I mean they looked different and unique from everyone else walking around in the mall and I guess I sorta respect that.

Picture the stereotype of a typical "punk rocker". That's exactly what these guys looked like. Foot tall mohawks, leather jackets, knee-high converse. One of the guys made a side comment about the family Christian bookstore. It wasn't particularly rude or anything but of course, my friend got riled up about it. We slowed down and let the guys pass. Once they were a few yards ahead of us, my friend yells, "Dumbasses!!!" at them. I immediately started laughing... it's sort of a defense mechanism of mine. They guys kept looking back at us and I felt so unbelievably stupid.

On top of that, I was wearing my RAMONES shirt so they probably thought I was a poser too. Gosh, I really need to stop caring about what other people think. To make it even worse, we ran into them again later and I just began to laugh hysterically. Anything like that ever happen to you?

Anyways with that off my chest....

Now Playing?

Favorite proto-punk band?Oh, R%26amp;P. Have I got a story to tell you!?
Hell yeah, ramones shirt!!!!!!!!

Haha, nah, the only friend of mine i really hang out with listens to great music.

But today i felt really stupid, i was at the mall (go figure)

And the guy at the counter made a comment about my Misfits wallet, and we started talking, so he asked me my favorite Misfits song, and my mind went completely blank. I felt like an idiot, because misfits are one of my favorite bands, and i know everysong.

But so i was like "well they are all amazing" and then my mind started working, haha.

But it was awkward, i felt stupid.
I never knew any punks who wore knee-high converse...Oh well..

Pretty interesting story, gave me a good 20 seconds of something to do.

I would be pretty embarrased haha.

Why are people being so rude...?

Don't understand sarcasm assholes?Oh, R%26amp;P. Have I got a story to tell you!?
wow your friend doesn't seem that nice

or two "Christian" either

Seen these two guys at the STL Pagan Picnic one with a foot tall teal mohawk the other with freakn huge liberity spikes. Punk guys are so cool lol
You do need to stop caring about what people think! Fingertoes walks around in a pink tutu, headbutting people. Do you think she cares about what other people think? Nnnooooooo!!!!Oh, R%26amp;P. Have I got a story to tell you!?
There's a family Christian bookstore in a mall?

What do they sell there?

BTW, why care what others think?
Uggh, Goo, thats horrible, LOL. Im sorry that laughing had to be your defense at the time %26gt;%26lt; Not the right time to laugh, LOL. Its alright, you probably arent ever gonna see them again in your life. And they probably already forgot about it.

Not Necessarily, I mean.. I've embarrassed my friends when they talk to their crushes (I get giggle fits very easily xP) But nothing remotely like your story, no, haha

NP: Make You Feel Better, Red Hot Chili Peppers :-)

Do The Ramones count?
So you're the girl that was laughing at me!
lol.

I would of laugh too,if I was in your position Goo.

NP:We Hold On -Rush

The Ramones
Lol, I can imagine that being a bit embarrassing but since they probably don't care what anyone else thinks you probably shouldn't care about what they think about you.

Nothing like that has ever happened to me but I have seen a few guys before where they looked like they had just stepped out of the 1970's London punk scene. I love punk but I definitely don't look like the typical punk rock listener.

Now playing - Yes - Manic Street Preachers

Favourite proto-punk band - The Stooges, although I've started to get into the MC5 recently.
yeah, I know what you mean kinda

like once I was at the mall with my emo/goth friend and I ended up dragging her into this really cool store that sells old vinyls and I wanted to buy one but of course she was wearing clothing from god knows what planet and someone there said something under their breath and I kinda laughed quietly because it was funny but anyways she got all mad and made a big scene so I ended up leaving without buying my cd and was all like, ok well it's not like I'm ever seeing him ever again so no big deal. wrong. we ended up going to the same school and it was embarassing seeing him again even though I didn't even do anything.

That was one hella long and non gramatically correct sentance but who cares.

Anywho, I'm listening to a song right now but I'm to embarrassed to write what it is. I'm on youtube and just clicked on the music section and am SMH at how awful these songs are that have millions of views.

IDK, new york dolls
