Does anyone know of any good book that teaches how to introduce babies/toddlers to Jesus?

I've been searching my local Christian bookstore for a book to help me find ways to introduce Jesus to my 1 year old. I want my daughter growing up knowing who He is and that He loves her. I just wanted to find a book out there that helps parents know how to teach them at this young age. Wondered if anyone knew of anything.

Thanks.

P.S. I hate putting this under Religion! I hate that word! Being a Christian is not being part of a Religion....it's a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior!Does anyone know of any good book that teaches how to introduce babies/toddlers to Jesus?
They make a baby Bible. Its not filled with scriptures. Its got snipets of scripture and asks babies or toddlers to do things along with the scripture.

God Bless!
Girlfriend, if you are trying to introduce your infant to Jesus, you got religion!Does anyone know of any good book that teaches how to introduce babies/toddlers to Jesus?
Yeah, this should be under "Brainwashing."
the new testament .Does anyone know of any good book that teaches how to introduce babies/toddlers to Jesus?
Elmo Goes To Hell is a good one.
Yeah I know a great book, its called brainwashing 101. Another good one is brainwashing for dummies.
Your child will not understand it.

Let her decide when she's older.
Indoctrinating an infant?? That is nothing less than child abuse. Shame on you.
Get her a Jesus bib

She will see that he 'saves' her food from hitting her 'Jesus loves me more than my mommy' shirt
Just be sure you teach your infant that if they come within 5 feet of Catholicism, they will burn in hell for an eternity.
Children's Bibles.

tell your baby, she'll understand.

We are instructed to talk to them about God when we stand up and when we lie down..
well, i would suggest inviting jesus round for dinner and saying "%26lt;name of infant%26gt; this is jesus. jesus, meet %26lt;name of infant%26gt;" then get them to make small talk.

or, you know, you could let it happen naturally. sounds like youre a pretty avid christian. then let her make her own choices as to what she believes.
There isn't one - a one year old isn't capable of comprehending an issue that has been debated for thousands of years.
Wow. Your question is so wrong on so many levels I am almost at a loss for words.

Go ahead with the indoctrination - it is your right, and I'm sure you'll find materials for it out there.

But that cutesy line at the end of your question...

*facepalm*
Let the child remain pure and find God in its TRUE form.
The best book you could find to show you how to teach your 1 year old about Christ is a book on how to be Godly parents! Your child is going to meet Christ when she sees God respected in the home, petitioned at the dinner table, studied in the morning or evening, and preached on Sunday. She's also going to see it through your husband's unconditional love of you and your child, and leadership in the home. Want to teach Christ? Be Christ in your home.

By the way, watch for that time when your daughter becomes aware that she's doing, or has done wrong. That's a great opportunity to start showing how that wrong is made right.

Also, bathe your daughter in prayer (but I'm sure you're doing that).
Well if that's the way you feel then there is no use in asking for help because all true Christians belong to one God. People don't understand the word religion. They keep coming up with different sects denominations, ministries..etc, just to run away from a word, but they are all the same thing. Don't worry though this hate for more than just the word was already prophesied about.
How about just doing it yourself? There are children's books that you can read to her and then hope she gets some comparative religious studies when she's older to counter it.

I remember children's bible stuff in doctor offices. I have a hard time believing you can't find something to read to her. Throw in some other mythology as well so she has a taste for all the classics.
He he he..looks like you stepped on a couple of feet here...
I recommend a book. It's called "Let Your Children Believe Whatever The F-U-C-K They Want And Stop Trying To Make Them Believe What You Do, Because They Are Individuals Who Should Be Left To Form Their Own Religious Opinions When They Are Ready."

By: Common Sense.
She's not going to understand a whole lot at this age, but there are some cute baby and toddler Bible story books out there (if you don't mind the cartoonizing of biblical personages) that can at least introduce her to the Bible stories.

Also, my Sunday school teacher says he and his wife just talk to their kids about Jesus as naturally as we'd talk about the weather or what's on TV--they don;t make Jesus seem like someone who's only for certain people to know about or talk about. They just jump right in and pray to Jesus about anything--headaches, protection, thanks for food, fussy babies, lol, and of course they sing the old stand-by's like "Jesus Loves Me," "Jesus Loves the Little Children," and "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam." Sorry, I know that's a little off your question, but just some suggestions. :)

religion- horrid word.

1 year may be a bit small.

Try a children's Bible- I had one.
you don't need a book, by example you can teach your children, pray with at night before bed, help neighbours and explain why you are doing it, tell them you love them, hug them, when they do wrong tell them about responsibility and accountability. i'm sure you will be great mum
Jehovahs Witnesses have a good Bible Story book.
Jehovah witnesses have my bible book of stories which covers all the stories in the bible. Maybe you could ask a local witness for a copy they would be more than happy to help.
