I'd love to hear your opinions about these certain questions.
God's Word: I went to a Christian Bookstore the other day and saw that Bibles, God's Word is set at $50+ why should you pay to read a bible???
Rehab: People have problems with drugs, my mother for example is a crystal meth addict, but can't afford rehab... Another thing meant to help is unaffordable.
Shelters: A few months ago i tried getting into a homeless shelter but they said i needed a parents signature... WTF?? Obviously my parents are no longer around does that make sense to you to need a parents signature to live in a shelter, i had to live in the woods because of this ridiculous rule?
Why does help cost so much?? And why is help not available??What has the world come to?
God's Word: It costs money to print the words on the page and different versions vary in quality. For example, I own The New Oxford Annotated Bible with the Apocrypha and it costs 32 dollars on Amazon. I know the Giddeons give a free version of the new testament.
Rehab: I agree that rehabilitation centers should be free. My recommendation is to go to a local rehabilitation center and ask them if they know any programs that could help pay for the rehabilitation. Also, if your mother wants to get off crystal meth she should be the one looking around for a way to afford the program, not you.
Shelters: They probably require a signature under a particular age because they don't want to facilitate young kids running away from home. If you think that your home is unsuitable for living you can call child protective services (CPS). They would set you up with a foster home which would be far better than a homeless shelter.
