What would your reaction be? And say there was no religion section in the bookstore.Christians, if you found copies of the bible in the fiction section of a bookstore...?
I would move it to the Fantasy section.
that's where it should beChristians, if you found copies of the bible in the fiction section of a bookstore...?
If there is no Religion section, the Bible would have to be in Fiction. Where else could it possibly go?
There is no proof that it is truth. So what is your pointChristians, if you found copies of the bible in the fiction section of a bookstore...?
This gives me an interesting idea the next time I visit Barnes %26amp; Noble.
I actually knew of a second hand bookstore that used to put books on evolution and dinosaurs in the mythology section. He eventually changed this.
It's as good a place as any for them.
I'd think that the owner was deliberately being a provocative asshole.
As are you, for asking a question like this.
But fortunately, this is just a hypothetical question...
I would be disappointed, and talk to the bookstore manager. I would tell them my feelings about how I believe the bible to be the word of God, and I would ask him to please make a seperate section for it. I wouldn't argue to put it in the non-fiction section or something like that, because not all people believe it to be true, just like not all people believe it to ba false. Because its placing would cause controversy in both sections, I would argue that it would have to be in its own section!
I'm not Christian, but I'd laugh. It would belong in the non-fiction section if there were no religion section.
No reaction, a book store that does not have a religion section is probably not a good bookstore to begin with and would no get much attention from me.
No religion section in the bookstore? Great idea! Just stop selling it altogether!
It wouldn't matter to me how or where I found the Bible. The important thing is that I FOUND IT! Maybe Jesus placed it there for me to find. And Thank God he did, or I may have died eternally lost. All I can say is Thank You Jesus for leading me to your Word and eternal Salvation. Thats my reaction!!!!!!!!Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!
To be honest, I wouldn't care. Maybe that is just being selfish, but one person's defiance doesn't affect me. They made their choice, so let them live in it. I, however, will not be condoning it. Besides, there are already major universities that teach the Bible actively in their classes...the do so under the label of 'literature' and not history. So, its already happened. Nothing new.
I would leave it be. The faithful have no worries about the little things that occur in life. besides maybe by the Grace of God it was meant to be there for someone who is a fictional reader to find.
Books on evolution should be moved to the fiction section or even better... a FRAUD section!!!
